Animal Reiki at the Healing Hub

Reiki is a non toxic, non invasive very gentle energy healing modality, where healing energy passes through the therapist to the animal and owner. It helps boost the body's natural ability to heal while also helping to release the negative energy from the body. Reiki can help speed up the healing process, it should never be used to replace veterinary treatment but with your vet's permission it can be used alongside treatments to ease pain and speed up recovery from illness or surgery. Reiki can also ease anxiety and stress in animals and is fantastic for rescue dogs, helping them settle into a new environment. The dog is free to get up and move around as the reiki will work regardless of whether the therapist has hands on or off the dog. Distant reiki is also available and will often be sent after an initial consultation with the intention of boosting the healing effect in the days after the treatment, it's very much led by the dog's needs. The consultation time varies depending upon the animal's needs and acceptance.
